SANCTUARY Into The Mirror Black (Numbered Limited Edition 2026 UK/EU 9-track LP pressed on 180 Gram Purple Vinyl)The 1990 second album from the Seattle thrash and power metal band, recorded at Sound City Studios in 1989. Sanctuary chose to hold their ground with a Bay Area thrash and traditional heavy metal sound rather than pivot toward the then-commercially-viable Seattle grunge scene, delivering an album that balances aggression, melody and soloing. The heavy guitar work leaves space for the rhythm section and riffs, and vocalist Warrel Dane's vocal range is showcased on the opener "Future Tense" and the lighter "Epitaph".The band reached its demise in 1992, with Warrel Dane and Jim Shepherd later carrying the Sanctuary legacy forward through the formation of Nevermore. Sanctuary reformed in 2010, bringing their songs back to the stage. Warrel Dane died in 2017.Limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies.
