Brembo's DOT 4 Premium Brake Fluid is made in Italy by one of the most respected names in braking. It is a high-performance, glycol-based fluid designed to give a firm, consistent pedal feel and dependable stopping power in everyday driving and more demanding conditions. Brake fluid works under intense heat, particularly during heavy or repeated braking. Brembo's formulation offers boiling points above the minimum DOT 4 requirement, helping to reduce the risk of vapour lock and brake fade. It also stays fluid in freezing temperatures, so the system responds reliably all year round. Key features Meets and exceeds the DOT 4 standard Dry boiling point (ERBP) of 245°C or higher, compared with a DOT 4 minimum of 230°C Wet boiling point (WERBP) of 157°C or higher, compared with a DOT 4 minimum of 155°C Low-temperature viscosity of 1,500 cSt max at -40°C for smooth operation in cold weather Suitable for disc and drum brake systems and hydraulic clutch systems that specify DOT 4 fluid Larger 500ml bottle for topping up and brake bleeding jobs Made in Italy Compatibility Suitable for vehicles that specify DOT 4 brake fluid. As a glycol-based fluid, it can also be used in systems designed for DOT 3. It must not be mixed with silicone-based DOT 5 fluid. Always check your vehicle handbook for the correct specification. Why replace your brake fluid? Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air over time, which lowers its boiling point and can reduce braking performance. Most manufacturers recommend replacing brake fluid at regular intervals, often every two years. Check your vehicle's service schedule for the correct interval. Keep the container tightly sealed when not in use to prevent moisture absorption, and store out of reach of children.
