The Bahco 9627 Series Long Combination Auger Bit in 22mm diameter with 460mm length is engineered for heavy-duty professional applications requiring large diameter holes. This robust size is commonly specified for major pipe installations, substantial cable routing, large bolt clearances, and heavy timber joinery work in construction and renovation projects. Constructed from hardened tool steel with a rust-resistant lacquer finish, this auger bit features the efficient Levin pattern spirals that deliver excellent chip evacuation and maintain cutting efficiency even through thick hardwood sections. The extended 460mm length provides exceptional reach for drilling through substantial structural timbers, deep wall assemblies, or other demanding long-reach applications. The threaded tip is engineered to moderate self-feed during power drill use, preventing aggressive grab and maintaining user control in larger diameter holes, whilst providing adequate feed for comfortable manual operation with a hand brace. Delivers reliable performance across all wood types.
