The Bahco 5 Piece Ergo Slim Insulated Screwdriver Set is a professional-grade VDE insulated screwdriver collection designed for electrical work on live equipment up to 1,000 Volts. Each screwdriver features high-quality blade insulation moulded directly onto the blade, with high-performance alloy steel blades that are chrome plated and entirely hardened for superior corrosion protection and extended service life. Developed using Bahco's scientific ERGO™ process, these screwdrivers feature three-component handles that deliver maximum user comfort during extended use. The soft material with ridged surface provides an excellent grip and enhanced force transmission, whilst the flat face prevents the screwdriver from rolling away on angled surfaces. The blades are 30% slimmer than standard insulated blades, making them ideal for accessing confined spaces and tight terminals that electricians frequently encounter. Each screwdriver is individually inspected and manufactured to IEC 60900 standards, with testing conducted in a water bath at 10,000V to ensure complete safety compliance. The colour-coded handles and permanent symbols on the domed ends make tip identification quick and straightforward on site. The black oxide tip finish ensures higher accuracy when engaging with screw heads. This comprehensive five-piece set is suitable for electricians, electrical contractors, and maintenance engineers working on electrical installations, control panels, and consumer units. The combination of slotted and Pozi drive screwdrivers covers the most common fixing types found in electrical work.
