Fit For Rover Fit For Cadillac Test Automatic Transmission Torque Converter 5L40E. Acting as a fluid coupling, it effectively dampens engine vibrations and prevents stalling when the vehicle comes to a complete stop in traffic. The torque converter allows the engine to operate at optimal RPMs while the vehicle remains stationary, reducing wear on drivetrain components and engine mounts. Using fluid dynamics, it supports low-speed travel, improving vehicle passability on rough terrain. By absorbing torsional vibrations and shock loads, the torque converter protects sensitive transmission gears from damage during aggressive acceleration events., Manufacturer: KBSXCGHD
