The ENGO Controls E25 battery powered smart thermostat is a Zigbee wireless room thermostat designed for ENGO smart heating systems where fast installation and flexibility are required. The battery powered design allows installation with no wiring into the room, making it ideal for retrofits, renovations, and existing homes. The thermostat supports two heating control scenarios: Underfloor Heating Systems:When used with an ENGO control box, each E25 thermostat controls a single underfloor heating zone. The thermostat measures room temperature and sends heating demand wirelessly using Zigbee RF 868. The control box then drives the thermal actuators on the manifold, delivering accurate zone-by-zone temperature control without the need for wired room thermostats. Radiator Heating Systems:When paired with ENGO smart radiator valves, such as ETRV-M30, the E25 thermostat controls radiator heating wirelessly. The thermostat sends temperature setpoints and the smart radiator valves physically regulate heat output. Multiple smart radiator valves can be controlled by one thermostat within the same room. Smart features and programming:The thermostat itself does not support on-device programming. All schedules, timers, and automation are configured through the ENGO mobile app, which requires the ENGO E-Gate Pro Zigbee gateway. Manual temperature adjustment is available directly on the thermostat. This battery powered smart thermostat is designed exclusively for the ENGO ecosystem and is not compatible with generic Zigbee hubs or other smart heating platforms.
