By separating the two units. you can easily test long-distance HDMI cables or those that are already installed. ensuring unrestricted use across all cable lengths.The B-Run HDMI cable tester also offers two different test modes for added versatility.Continuity Mode: In this mode. the Master unit sends a continuous signal to all data lines of the Remote unit. causing all LEDs to remain lit.Sweep Mode: Here. each data line is tested individually. The Master unit sends a signal to the first pin. causing the LED for pin 1 to blink green on both the Master and Remote units. This process continues sequentially from pin 1 through pin 19.
