Designed for professional use where added protection is required, it combines a deep socket profile with insulation that is verified through rigorous testing. Each socket is manufactured from injection moulded nylon thermoplastic and is 100% tested to IEC60900, Category C and ASTMF1505. ITL tools are also 100% tested using 1000 volts for 3 minutes while submerged in water. For added resilience in tough environments, the socket is designed to withstand extreme impact and abrasion, and is flame retardant. Category C impact testing supports operation across a greater temperature range, from -40ºF to +158ºF and -40ºC to +70ºC.
