Made to DIN 741: the U-bolt, grooved saddle and two nuts are dimensioned as a matched set for each rope size, so you choose the size for your rope diameter and the U-bolt thread and length follow from it. Constructional steel and cast iron, high-strength materials resistant to damage, with a zinc coating for corrosion resistance. Size for 13mm (0.51in) wire rope: U-bolt thread M10, length (L) 42mm (1.65in). This listing is a pack of 4 clamps. Simple bolt-up fitting with two nuts and a spanner, no swaging or crimping tools needed. The nuts can be loosened to adjust the rope tension, then checked and re-tightened, for secure, durable clamping of the rope. Also known as wire rope clips, wire clamps, cable clamps or rope clamps; whichever name you use (wire rope clip, rope clamp, cable clamp or rope fastener), the fitting is the same. For clamped loop terminations in rigging, fencing and balustrades, agricultural fencing, workshop, garden and yard, construction, and securing loads on trailers. Typically formed around a thimble (sold separately).
