WHAT IS IN THE BOX: Two levers, two 54 mm round roses, one 2.5 inch tubular mortice latch with strike plate, one 8 x 8 x 90 mm square spindle and the fixing screws. One box covers one door completely. WILL IT FIT: the rose is 54 mm across with a 65 mm projection, the square spindle is 8 x 8 x 90 mm, and the set suits a standard UK door of 35-42 mm. A screwdriver is the only tool you need. BUILT AND FINISHED: aluminium alloy levers in brushed chrome on round roses, with a sprung return so the lever settles level every time you let go. The finish is a soft satin sheen that sits quietly against white, oak and grey doors. ONE BOX, ONE DOOR: fit a brushed chrome door handle each side; these internal door handles hang either way round, so one door handle set suits a left or right hand door. On internal doors throughout the house, buy them as door handles internal sets, as door handle sets, or as interior door handles for one room; these lever on rose door handles run from room to room. Satin nickel door handles and silver door handles describe this same tone. FIRE DOORS AND CERTIFICATION: The tubular mortice latch is fire rated, but only when an intumescent pad is fitted behind it, and that pad is not supplied in this box. The levers and roses themselves are not part of the fire rating. Before you order, check what your door already has: the spindle here is 8 x 8 x 90 mm and the rose is 54 mm across.
