The AquaHouse small UV pre-filter system features a 5 micron sediment filter and is suitable for removing rust and sediment particles from the water prior to a UV lamp, to help ensure proper functioning of the lamp and to help protect the quartz sleeve from fogging. This model (AH-UVPRE) connects in-line with 1/4" water pipe and is ideal for use with small UV systems including the AquaHouse 12W UV lamp (for the larger 25W / 55W models please see the larger AH-UVPRE??-BB model) Supplied with 5 Micron rated sediment filter inside the clear filter housing, so that you can visually inspect the filter.
