This listing is for a kit designed to connect a standard 15mm household copper water pipe to an outdoor tap. The kit includes a tee valve that is installed into your existing water supply line and connects to a flexible pipe. This flexi pipe allows for easy routing around existing plumbing and carries the water to the copper pipe that passes through the wall. Before attaching the flexi pipe to the copper pipe, be sure to measure and cut the copper pipe so that the wall plate sits flush against the external wall. Ensure there’s enough pipe protruding inside the wall to easily connect with the flexi pipe. To secure the wall plate to the outside wall, three screws and wall plugs are provided. Once the backplate is fixed in place, wrap a small amount of the included PTFE tape around the tap threads, then screw on the tap. The PTFE tape ensures a watertight seal and allows you to position the tap upright. The kit also includes either a tap outlet barb or a click male connector, along with a matching female fitting for connecting a garden hose. Lastly, the supplied valve comes with either a blue handle (for cold water) or a red handle (for hot water), depending on your intended use.This kit comes with a nickel plated double outlet lever tap.
