Pinto beans have a rosy-pink hue and a creamy texture when cooked, thanks to their characteristic speckled skin ("pinto" is Spanish for "speckled" or "painted"). Pinto beans, when soaked in cold water and cooked at low heat, should preserve the majority of their nutrients. ✔ HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: Kidney beans, navy beans, black turtle beans, and numerous more species of pinto beans made from the "common bean" family, which is said to have originated in Central America. Pinto beans are high in protein and fibre, as well as minerals. Pinto beans are natural, GMO-free, and vegan-friendly. ✔ INSTRUCTION FOR USE: Fibre-rich protein source. Add to vegetable stews to add texture. To Cook: 1. Rinse beans 2. Soak for 4-6 hours (or overnight). 3. Place in a pot and cover with water above the beans. 4. Boil for 45-60 minutes and ensure that there's always water in the pot. 5.
