This 115mm diameter flap disc with 40g coarse grit is designed for heavy-duty material removal and aggressive surface preparation. With a Ø115/22mm size and bore configuration fitting standard angle grinders, it delivers powerful performance for descaling, rapid rust removal and initial weld preparation where substantial stock removal is essential. The coarse 40 grit cuts through stubborn surface contaminants efficiently. Constructed from durable aluminium oxide, this disc tackles demanding metalworking applications with ease. The abrasive flaps are securely bonded to the rigid disc using epoxy adhesive, removing the need for a backing pad and simplifying disc installation. The depressed centre design ensures compatibility with both electric and pneumatic angle grinders, making it an essential tool for fabrication and maintenance work.
