This is Braided Kevlar webbing wicks, made of 100% Dupont Kevlar Fibre. This material has super high strength / weight tolerances, high toughness, excellent resistance to cut / abrasion, high thermal stability and is widely used in outdoor activities, rescue, survival, maritime industries and of course for making fire props. Each webbing length has a specific braid pattern applied by Play in Italy. This special extremely compact weave is designed to absorb large amounts of fuel but also be resistant to fraying. This makes it an ideal material for use in the construction of fire props. Kevlar doesn't melt or decompose at high temperatures - in fact it is often used in fire fighting equipment! This material is super tough yet exceptionally light in weight. The strength of the material is comparable to Steele. This material is used in demanding industries all over the world. Kevlar is Cut-Resistant and requires a special blade to be properly cut. One metre length will be useful for most fire prop applications, but here you can order your preferred amount. Refunds
