Blueberry Chandler, also known as Vaccinium Corymbosum, is a variety of blueberry plant. These fruit plants have deciduous, green foliage which turns fiery orange and red in autumn, before dying off each winter. In spring, when leaves return, small, sweetly scented, white flowers bloom before a crop of berries begins to ripen, ready for harvest from early August and throughout September. This variety of blueberry plant produces large, firm berries which are bursting with juicy flavour. Blueberries are packed with vitamins and antioxidants, and they are fabulous for making preserves, adding to muffins and pies or for adding to pancakes. Blueberry plants will grow best in moist, well-drained, acidic soil planted beside another blueberry plant to increase pollination. Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
