The FAIPLLAM40LS is a 40mm extra long shackle laminated steel padlock featuring a 4-pin tumbler locking mechanism, specifically designed for applications requiring extended reach. The extra long shackle makes this variant ideal for securing items through thicker chains, multiple loops, or awkward fittings where a standard shackle would be insufficient, such as gates with thick frames or storage units requiring additional clearance. Manufactured using individually galvanised plates with a case hardened steel shackle, this padlock provides robust security with a high strength brass cylinder mechanism that is accurately machined, durable and rust resistant. The stainless steel shackle spring maintains reliable performance throughout the extended shackle length.
