The Blagdon UV Pond Filter System 28000 with 24W UVC is designed to create a clean and healthy environment for your fish. Its unique seven-stage filter design requires minimal maintenance, making it ideal for larger ponds experiencing green water problems. This modular system allows for expansion by adding more units if sunlight exposure increases. UV sterilisation is a highly effective, non-chemical method for controlling suspended algae (green water) and, when combined with proper filtration, ensures a clear view of your fish. The system works by exposing pond water to UV light, causing algae particles to clump together and become easily captured by the pond filter. This UVC unit includes multi-hose tails, female solvent waste 1.5" sockets, and an advanced power compact UV lamp system that delivers twice the UV light output compared to conventional linear lamps in the same space.
