HIGH-QUALITY SLATE: Each of the 6 serving mats is made of attractive high-quality slate. The dark grey stone and simple rectangular shape is aesthetically pleasing as well as practical and safe to eat from. Each piece has a natural cut edge. NO-SCRATCH PROTECTION: Unlike other stone place mats, the Navaris set of slate mats won't scratch your wooden dining table or kitchen sideboards. Each mat has 6 small pads on the underside so the serving plates won't scratch your surfaces. DINNER IS SERVED: Thanks to their generous size, the large place mats can be used to serve up all kinds of food in style. Present a delicious spread of cheese, charcuterie, sushi, desserts or even dinner, so long as it's not with sauce. A BLANK SLATE: Just like a traditional slate blackboard, the slabs can be written or drawn on with chalk - perfect for labelling a cheese board, for example. PLEASE NOTE: The slate plates are not suitable for use in the microwave and are not dishwasher safe. Simply wipe clean.
