This 125mm C430 Expert for Wood and Paint 40 Grit Sanding Disc — Pack of 5 is the coarsest option in the range, making it the go-to choice for aggressive material removal and heavy stock sanding. The 40g grit cuts quickly through thick layers of paint, filler, and rough timber, making it ideal at the start of any sanding project where significant surface preparation is needed. Despite its coarse cut, the electrostatic open-coated surface maintains consistent dust clearance, preventing the disc from loading up with debris and extending its working life. The tough, wear-resistant abrasive grit and fully synthetic resin bonding keep performance high across repeated heavy-duty applications. The highly flexible C-/B- paper backing resists cracking when folded, and the hook and loop system means you can swap discs quickly on any compatible random orbital sander.
