--
Our eBay Store

Seeed 101020192 Grove Barometer Sensor Based on BMP280 I2C 3.3V or 5V

Product Details

The Grove Barometer sensor is a low cost, high-precision environmental sensor that is based on the new BMP280 sensor, an upgraded version of the BMP180.

The sensor can carry out precise measurement of ambient barometric pressure and temperature, with air pressure measurable in a range from 300 to 1100hPa with ±1hPa absolute accuracy. For temperature measurement, the sensor works perfectly for temperatures between -40°C and +85°C with an accuracy of ±1°C.

Because of the high measurement accuracy, altitude can be calculated with ±1 meter accuracy, making the sensor ideal for use as an altimeter. An additional feature is the provision of both I2C and SPI interfaces, useful for avoiding I2C collisions. To use SPI, simply de-solder the bonding pads on the back. If I2C is used, the board also provides 2x I2C addresses to be used as desired. \;
