The John Guest Speedfit 15mm tank connector is a push-fit fitting for connecting plastic or copper pipe to a cold water tank. It is suitable for tanks with a minimum wall thickness of 4mm. Push the fitting fully onto the pipe, then hand-tighten the connector to the tank. To demount the connection, push the collet towards the fitting body and pull the pipe to release it. The tool-free design enables quick installation in confined loft spaces without hot works, glue or flux. The Grip & Seal collet has stainless steel teeth and a main O-ring seal. The fitting is non-toxic, resists corrosion and helps prevent scale build-up. Compatible with Speedfit PEX and polybutylene plastic pipe when inserts are used, and with copper pipe.
